The community of Esquimalt, Canada is unique because it is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on three sides. The location is accessed by the Johnson Street Bridge, and is the home of Canada's Pacific Fleet. The city has been a major port for Victoria since the 1800s when it was the location for the British Royal Navy. Nowadays this little harbor town is filled with people enjoying the coast with walkways along the harbor.

The English Inn

This location was built in 1906 and sits surrounded by five acres of gardens. The inn is only five minutes from downtown Victoria, and minutes away from many different outdoor activities. Some of the things you will find near here are golf, whale watching, kayaking, hiking and the Butchart Gardens. The inn offers three different types of rooms, all unique to themselves, and a townhouse for larger families. Each room has coffee and tea, iron and ironing boards, cable and a clock radio. Some of the rooms offer patios and fireplaces.

A Bed on the Inlet

This bed and breakfast is located on the Portage Inlet bird sanctuary and gives a perfect panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains. They offer a wonderful location for kayaking, hiking, cycling, golfing and, of course, bird watching. They are about seven minutes away from Victoria, and are within walking distance of the Galloping Goose Trail System. The bed and breakfast offers full breakfast, Jacuzzi tubs in each room, private sundeck, bicycles for rent and a quiet location for watching the wildlife.

Trafalgar House Inn

The inn was built in 1910 with a mix of Tudor and Italian styles, and then in 1991 was fully restored to its original condition. This location is just minutes away from downtown Victoria, and just five minutes walking distance from Esquimalt's harbor and ferry stop. The inn offers rooms with kitchens, balconies and queen-sized beds with an additional sleeper sofa. The inn has many outdoor activities nearby including golf, hiking and the Butchart Gardens.
