Gatorland, near Orlando in central Florida, is known as the alligator capital of the world. Whether you're visiting Florida to hike the trails, play on the world-class golf courses, pay a visit to the famous mouse, or spend time with friends and family, a visit to Gatorland will make your blood run cold with excitement. There's the opportunity to get up close to gators, crocodiles, birds and sea creatures. The 110-acre park also includes a breeding marsh, boardwalk, petting zoo and more. Many educational programs are hosted there daily. Because of the park's popularity, tours are plentiful. Many offer transportation directly from an Orlando or Kissimmee hotel.

Orlando-Tours

The Orlando-Tours group offers tours of Gatorland at 12 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. There is pickup from Orlando and Kissimmee hotels (one hour before) included in the tour price. Adult tickets are $48.95; children's tickets are $38.95. There is a $3.95 flat processing fee for the entire order and a per-ticket service charge shown upon ordering.

Vacations Made Easy

Tour Gatorland on a Monday with tickets from Vacations Made Easy. The base fee for an adult ticket is $56.95; a child's (ages three-nine) ticket is $46.95. Children two and younger are free with each paying adult. Ticket prices include services and fees. An optional add-on feature is an air boat ride.
