The tour vehicle is a biodiesel powered four-wheel drive that can fit a maximum of five people, and makes stops for short hikes several times throughout the day. Tours are offered only during the months of May through October.

YGT Custom Park Tours

YGT Custom Park Tours offers full-day tours of Yellowstone and half-day tours to popular destinations like Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as well as a multiple-day tour that includes visiting the upper areas of the park. The tours often stop for walks in geyser basins in the Firehole River Valley and can include side trips to the wolf recovery center and the grizzly discovery center. Multiple-day tours usually include lodging at the Old Faithful Inn, a historic landmark that is also the largest log structure in the world. The YGT Custom Park Tour can accommodate four to six guests per tour and leaves Jackson Hole at 7:15 am. YGT tours of Yellowstone National Park are offered in the spring, summer and fall only.

Grayline of Jackson Hole

Grayline is an international tour company that has a local office in Jackson Hole and offers narrated tours of Yellowstone National Park. The tours take place on a standard Grayline bus, and are narrated by the driver who has been trained on the ecology and history of Yellowstone. The tour stops at Old Faithful for lunch, Hayden Valley for wildlife viewing and the Lake Hotel for dinner. The bus can pick up guests at any hotel or other location in Jackson Hole and Jackson Hole airport transfers are available. The entire tour runs eleven hours on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from June to October.
