Lake Marian Paradise Marina and RV Resort

A part of the large chain of lakes fed by the Kissimmee River, Lake Marian offers visitors multiple opportunities for outdoor exploration and recreation. At 5,617 acres, Lake Marian is one of the larger of the area lakes and its northwest portion is a part of the Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area. This area is famed as one of the largest nesting grounds for the bald eagle in the United States. The area around the lake offers flat pine tree forests, marshland and natural prairie. The only park situated on the water is the Lake Marian Paradise Marina and RV Resort. Numerous trails, fishing, nature tours and birding are popular pursuits.

Bull Creek Wildlife Management Area

Drive to Bull Creek Wildlife Management Area to view area wildlife in a pristine habitat. Initially created for flood control from the St. Johns River, Bull Creek's remote location and lack of landscaping regularly draws nature lovers. A part of the St. Johns River Wildlife Management District, white-tailed deer, gopher tortoise, red cockaded woodpecker, marsh rabbits, turkeys, limpkin, great egret, sandhill cranes and herons, among others, call the area home. For those who want to stay for a few days and explore, camping sites are available as are hiking trails, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing and picnic areas.

Kissimmee Swamp Tours
