Snowcoach Tours of Yellowstone

Snowcoach Tours of Yellowstone
Between mid-December and mid-March, the most popular way to see Yellowstone National Park is by snowmobile or snowcoach. Snowcoaches are large passenger vehicles that have been specially outfitted for travel over snow. Taking a snowcoach tour allows guests to experience the beauty of the park while in the comfort of a heated vehicle. There are numerous tour companies offering snowcoach tours of the park. The two most popular routes take visitors through Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. When booking, make sure to ask if door-to-door transportation, meals, park entrance fee and refreshments are included. Some companies offer half-day and multi-day tours as well, and many will tailor a private tour upon request.

Goosewing Ranch

Goosewing Ranch offers a full-day snowcoach day trip to Old Faithful. Snowcoaches hold up to seven people. Door-to-door transportation, breakfast, lunch and refreshments are included; however, the park entrance fee is not. Rates started at $229 per person in 2009.
