Tucson's winter temperatures are mild, averaging in the mid to high 50s, making it an ideal time to go out and explore this desert valley and all it has to offer. The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is an event held annually over the second full weekend of February. There are plenty of hotels from which to choose near the Gem Show and other area attractions.
