For travelers on a budget looking to experience this historical and active small city with their pets, the Econo Lodge is a good option. It allows dogs, up to two per room, for $10 a night. Located just south of Interstate 64, the Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Monticello is one of the closest hotels to the area's historical attractions, like Monticello and Michie Tavern, and it's still within a few miles drive to the University and the Historic Downtown Mall as well.
