Bembe
This bar combines all the sounds of the Caribbean in a cozy space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It's so cozy, that there is a swinging hammock in one corner of the room waiting for someone to dive into it. Another reason for the homey feel is that the interior was created from 90 percent of found and recycled items. On any given night, the music can vary from upbeat dance hall to cool Afro-Cuban jazz. The mood is always as relaxed as a shanty town on a Caribbean island.
