Pet Friendly Hotels in Anaheim Near Disneyland

Pet Friendly Hotels in Anaheim Near Disneyland
Disneyland is the perfect destination for a family vacation--even if that family happens to include a pet such as a cat or a dog. There are 13 hotels and motels within one mile of the Disneyland Resort that allow pets (as of 2009). While every establishment is different, pets generally must be monitored at all times, cleaned up after by their owners and kept on a leash. Most hotels will charge a fee for pets, which must also stay clear of any food-serving establishments.

Anabella Hotel

Located just across the street from the Disneyland Resort is the Anabella Hotel. The property sits on nearly eight acres, so there's ample room for Fido to explore--on a leash, of course. Guest rooms are decorated in an old-time Colonial style, and include cable television, mini fridges, hair dryers and video game consoles. Being centrally located, the Anabella is also close to a driving range, bike rental kiosk and running track, which allows pets. There is a $100 fee for a pet to stay at this hotel (as of 2009).

Anaheim Plaza Hotel

The Anaheim Plaza Hotel is situated on nine acres just a half-mile from the Disneyland Resort. Luckily, Anaheim's flat terrain, along with its numerous cross walks and tourist attractions, make this city extremely pedestrian-friendly. Accommodations are modest, though the hotel does offer a few two-bedroom suites. Guests traveling with pets must stay in a smoking room, must never leave their pets unattended, and must agree to pay a nightly fee of $10 and a 15 percent added tax. There is a breakfast buffet and bar and grill on-site, as well as a pool, though pets are not allowed in these areas.

Alamo Inn & Suites

The Alamo Inn & Suites has one of the more liberal pet policies in Anaheim. This is, of course, if your pet is well behaved. A well-behaved pet that weighs less than 25 pounds can be left in the room for short periods of time and is welcome in any outdoor area, including the pool area. This hotel contains 86 rooms, all of which allow pets. The Alamo also offers numerous complimentary amenities, including coffee in the lobby, Wi-Fi in public areas, parking and a 24-hour front desk. There is an outdoor swimming pool that can be enjoyed in warmer months, and an indoor spa that's open year round. The Alamo is a little more than half a mile from the Disneyland Resort.
