Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada, is northwest of Buffalo, New York, and just to the west of the boundary between Canada and the United States on the Niagara River. The falls are a favorite destination for honeymooners and for outdoor enthusiasts on their way to or from recreational outings in the New York state countryside, in Ontario or on Lake Ontario or Lake Erie, both of which are within a few miles of the falls. Visitors can also take boat cruises on the Niagara River. Several hotels in Niagara Falls overlook the waterfalls.

This hotel is two blocks from the falls. It has more than 200 guest rooms, many of which overlook Horseshoe Falls. The hotel has an indoor pool, an exercise room and two restaurants, one a fine-dining establishment and a second, more casual eatery. Guests can also get room service. Sheraton On The Falls is right across the street from the falls, and the restaurants, swimming pool and many of the rooms have views of the falls. The lobby has a Starbucks café, a Hard Rock Cafe, a Rainforest Café with a live-shark exhibit and an erupting volcano, and a fine-dining room on the penthouse level. The hotel has a business center, on-site spa and two swimming pools. Internet access is available for an additional fee. The guest rooms have Sheraton proprietary beds and premium bedding, with duvets and goose-down pillows. The bathrooms have complimentary toiletry kits.

Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls

The Oakes Hotel is half a block from Horseshoe Falls and next door to the Fallsview Casino. It has an observation room looking out over the waterfalls, a fitness center, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and an on-site restaurant that offers room service. In addition, staff provide free transportation to another nearby restaurant owned by the same company. Internet access is available. The guest rooms have cable TV and coffee makers, and some have terraces for viewing the falls, fireplaces and jetting bath tubs.

This hotel inhabits a vintage building constructed during the 1920s and has the architecture and interior to prove it. In the lobby, you'll find a majestic staircase, a player piano and a crystal chandelier. The hotel has a fine on-site restaurant with views of the falls, and a Starbuck's coffee shop. The hotel also has a fitness center, a shopping arcade and a computer room with Internet access. The 234 guest rooms on 12 floors have cable TV and wireless Internet access, coffee makers and premium bedding. Some rooms have views of the falls as well.
