A short drive from Kerhonkson, the Minnewaska Lodge is near Gardiner, New York, at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains. The lodge is situated on 17 acres and has both cliff and forest views. Mohonk Mountain House

The Mohonk Mountain House, one of America's oldest family-owned resorts, is in nearby New Paltz. The 140-year-old Victorian castle is set on beautiful Lake Mohonk.
