The downtown Indianapolis location of the New Orleans-based steakhouse features a dark, upscale modern decor and a lively bar scene at the entrance. Ruth's Chris offers valet parking and a location within walking distance to several downtown hotels and attractions. Dress runs the gamut from professional to cocktail attire, and the price (2009) starts at about $30 for the entrees, served ala carte.

Sullivan's Steakhouse

Sullivan's Steakhouse of Indianapolis, north of downtown in the Keystone at the Crossing shopping area, divides its dining area into a traditional dining area and a separate jazz lounge with live entertainment on certain nights.
