With 6 acres of private land, the hotel grounds offer visitors streams and rivers as well as access to adjacent areas of protected forest. Guests can use the grounds to pick berries or wander through deer and mountain paths. The hotel houses six rooms, and all are spacious with bathroom suites. Each room is individually decorated, some with four-poster beds, and all with large balconies overlooking the nearby fjord and mountains. Televisions, DVD players and wireless Internet are all available. Fjord tours, skiing and hiking are all available to guests.

Clarion Collection Hotel Bryggen

A uniquely-styled first-class hotel, the Bryggen was once a waterfront warehouse. Situated near the harbor district in Alesund, this hotel offers 85 rooms and a full-service recreation area. This beautiful 150-room hotel with astonishing views is just a 5-minute walk from the museum and less than two miles from the Fjellstua view point. The Alesund restaurant provides some of the best-tasting and freshest fish dishes in Norway. Situated right over the water, this restaurant is an area favorite.
