Rich in American history, Iowa features many state parks, historical sites, and museums. King's Pointe Waterpark Resort

There are two water parks (indoor and outdoor) at this resort set on the shore of Storm Lake. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, clock radio, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and coffee maker. Hold weddings and conventions here with ample room for meetings and banquet catering. On-site amenities include room service, fitness center, arcade, bike rental, fishing guide, and 6 miles of paths for biking or jogging. Clarion Inn Amana Colonies and Wasserbahn Waterpark Resort

This pet-friendly resort has it all. Located close to Amana Colonies, this resort features a water park with rides and areas for all ages. A spa, sauna, and arcade are available inside the park. Along the Mississippi River in downtown Dubuque, the Grand Harbor is central to resort and local activities, including dining and shopping. The water park features water slides, tube rides, two giant hot tub whirlpools, and activity pools.
