La Pequena Columbia Restaurant

La Pequena Columbia offers diners traditional Colombian dishes, daily lunch specials, a children's menu and fresh bakery items. The walls are decorated in bright crafts and pop music keeps the atmosphere light and fun. The owner, Fabio Orozco, a Colombian native, tries to keep culinary traditions alive in his restaurant. One of the most popular menu items is the Country Platter, which includes grilled steak, pork skin, rice, red beans, sweet plantains, eggs and corn cake.

Antojitos

Antojitos means little cravings, so the big servings here will definitely curb those cravings and then some. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the fresh food and baked goods are popular with the local Spanish crowd and South Howard residents. The fruit shakes, available in a wide variety of flavors, are a great addition to any meal. Local favorites include the thin fried pork chops and ahi salsa, made with zesty chiles.
