Angels Camp is a historic gold rush town located in the foothills of the mighty Sierra Nevada mountains. Whether you are heading to Yosemite for hiking and camping adventures or to one of the many ski resorts in Tahoe, Angels Camp is charming place to stop and spend a night or two. Big Trees State Park, about a half an hour outside of town, features a magnificent grove of old growth giant sequoias and several hiking trails that wind through them. The Gold Country Inn is an affordable family run hotel located right on Main street Angel's Camp and is a popular choice among visitors to the area. The Cooper House

The Cooper House is a bed and breakfast housed in a historic landmark craftsman that is just one block from Main street Angels Camp. The hotel offers three different types of rooms, some with private desks or patios, all of which include satellite television, and free Internet access. All guests at the Cooper House have access to a free wine bar, the gardens that surround the house, and a complimentary breakfast in the morning. An on site gift shop sells basic travel necessities as well as locally made arts and crafts and food items, such as fig jam and lime curd.

The Best Western Cedar Inn & Suites in Angels Camp is located right on Main street and is a modern mid range hotel. The hotel offers 38 rooms that include satellite television, free wireless access, refrigerators, and microwaves.
