Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages

Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages
Planning a family trip to the magical kingdom of Disneyland in Anaheim, California, can definitely be a thrill, but the energy spent trying to find the perfect all-inclusive vacation package can be stressful and time consuming. Don't worry, there are many options available that will suit your family's needs. Securing a vacation package takes the hassle out of finding a hotel and purchasing admission tickets for the park.

Accommodations

The difference between the two vacation packages offered at Disneyland is choice of hotels. The two bundle selections are the Resort Hotel Package and the Good Neighbor Hotel Package. Lodging in Disneyland is available through the Resort Hotel Package. The three Disney hotel options are the Paradise Pier, the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or the Disneyland Hotel. The advantage of this package is the close accessibility to all theme parks. Families also have the opportunity to use recreational facilities and fitness centers.

Although not on Disney home turf, the hotel choice of the Good Neighbor Hotel Package is more expansive because nearly 40 hotel locations convenient to Disneyland are available. Locations are categorized as Suite, Superior, Moderate, and Economy, with choices like Sheraton Anaheim Hotel, Desert Palms Hotel & Suites or Ramada Inn Maingate.

Greeting

Upon arrival with both vacation packages, a Disney character will greet your family with a welcoming call. Either Mickey, Minnie or Goofy will jump-start the magical experience of Disneyland. Arrangements are made during the booking process either online, with a Disney representative over the phone or a travel agent.

Experience

The entire vacation can be tailored to a specific theme. Disney offers six options ranging from a Fairy Tale Fantasy, bringing childhood fairy tales to life, to The Call of Adventure, which explores nature's mountain peaks and jungles. You can even go back in history with the 1955 Experience and relive the beginning of Walt Disney's dream. The various age groups are recognized as Little Ones, catering to the pace of toddlers, Families with Kids, aiming for excitement, and Families with Teens, focusing on diversity for adolescents.

Parks

Visiting multiple parks can be included on one ticket. With the Park Hopper souvenir ticket, same-day admission to Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park can be pulled off during a three-day period. Disney's California Adventure Park magnifies California's history through the gold rush to the magic of Hollywood. Disneyland Park offers eight themed territories including Main Street USA and Mickey's Toontown.

Both packages include an hour advance to Toontown. Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness can be experienced on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday morning. Mayor Mickey Mouse will lead a tour through Toontown, with interactions among other Disney characters and their daily activities. With the Magic Morning pass, you can enter Fantasyland within Disneyland Park before it opens to the public on a Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning.

Exclusives

Each family member receives a Walt Disney Travel Company Collectible Pin & Lanyard. Also, one Walt Disney Travel Company Downtown Disney District Fun Card is available in each package. This card offers discounts that allow your family to experience Disney's Downtown District at places like AMC movie theaters and the ESPN Zone Restaurant. Access to entertainment, shopping and dining is granted along an animated boardwalk.
