The Village Corner German Restaurant

The Village Corner is a family-owned restaurant and bakery run by immigrants from Hamburg, Germany. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served every day except Mondays, and you'll find the eatery packed during its popular Sunday brunch. Catering is also available.

Kurt's and Vreny's

Kurt and Vreny Eisele immigrated to the U.S. in the 1960s and opened the restaurant that bears their name in 1985. The restaurant calls its food "modern German" and features dishes like Hungarian goulash soup, beef filet served with bourguignon-style fondue and rack of lamb with rosemary au jus. If you visit during October, ask for the Oktoberfest menu. In true German form, customers can enjoy dishes like German soft pretzels, wine-braised sauerkraut and apple strudels.

The Vines at Edelweiss German Inn

Located just north of downtown Atlanta, The Vines restaurant is one of Georgia's premier German restaurants and is decorated in the style of a German alpine inn. The menu changes often to take advantage of local produce for German and continental recipes. Start with an appetizer like shrimp napolean, then continue to an entree like veal oscar smothered in Béarnaise sauce, or juicy wiener schnitzel. Rathskeller
