In 2009, tours ranged in price from $42.95 for a standard day trip by bus though the Napa Valley to $440 for chartered vehicles and tastings at select wineries of your choice. Super Sightseeing Tours in San Francisco features a Napa Valley Wine Tour that begins with hotel pick-up at 9 a.m. and includes visits to Kirkland Ranch Winery, the Bartolucci Family's Madonna Estate, Viansa Winery in Sonoma and Sonoma Plaza. Tasting fees are included in the adult ticket price ($65 in 2009, children $46, seniors $63). The tour lasts approximately nine hours.

Wine Country Tour Shuttle

The Wine Country Tour Shuttle departs from the San Francisco Ferry Building and includes visits to Domaine Chandon, V. Sattui, Andretti Winery and Flora Springs in the Napa Valley, as well as a San Francisco Bay cruise by ferry on the return trip. The tour also features a Wine 101 lesson en route to Napa Valley and a picnic lunch served on V. Sattui's picturesque grounds. Tickets were $95 in 2009, excluding the $5 to $10 tasting fees at each winery.
