Extended Stay America and Extended Stay Deluxe Hotels are stocked for the long-stay traveler with full kitchens, refrigerator and stove use, plus expanded workspace and on-site laundry. The Deluxe Hotel also offers a light continental breakfast Monday through Friday and provides on-site fitness facilities and a pool as well as the studio rooms at both types of location. Braintree, Danvers, Tewksbury and Westborough have Extended Stay America locations. Deluxe Hotels are found in Waltham, Westborough and Woburn.
Homestead Studio Suites
Homestead Studio-Suites offer studio-suite expanded rooms designed for longer stays. These rooms have kitchens, stoves, refrigerators and microwaves as well as cooking utensils in each room. On-site laundry, iron and ironing-boards and pet-friendly rooms are available, as well as work spaces and a one-time $4.99 wireless Internet fee that covers your whole stay. Homestead Studio Suites are located around the Boston area in Waltham, Burlington, Marlborough and Peabody.
Marriott
For stays of 30 days or more, consider a furnished, temporary apartment in the Boston area. Marriott offers "Execustay" apartments in four neighborhoods around Boston---Asteria, Broad Street and Parklane Seaport are just north of downtown; Highpoint is on the South Shore in Quincy. One-, two-bedroom and loft layouts with kitchens, dishwashers and washer/dryers in each apartment are desirable features of these furnished apartments.
Bed and Breakfast Associates
The Bed and Breakfast Associates of the Bay Colony area also offers listings for extended stay, furnished and unfurnished apartments to give guests the privacy of their own cooking facilities as well as to accommodate a better cost for lodging longer than days. Rates are listed by property for high season (summer) and low season (winter) for areas from Beacon Hill and Quincy to the Northend, Southend and Charlestown. All properties have some kitchen, bedroom, bathroom combination, but the size, furnishings and amenities vary depending on the property.
