Hotels Between Baton Rouge & Destrehan

Hotels Between Baton Rouge & Destrehan
The capital of Louisiana, Baton Rouge is about 85 miles northwest of New Orleans. Destrehan is a small town just south of Metairie, which is a few miles west of downtown New Orleans, just off Lake Pontchartrain. The distance between the two towns is about 73 miles. The main travel corridor between the towns is I-10, which runs northwest from New Orleans to the capital. The area abounds with freshwater lakes, and is at no point further than 50 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, so it is a favored destination for fishermen and those who enjoy boating and other water sports.
