Aspen is Colorado's premier destination for outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world. Starwood's property in Aspen is the luxurious St. Regis Aspen Resort Hotel, which provides a posh place for travelers to retire after enjoying the outdoors.

St. Regis Apsen Resort

The St. Regis Aspen Resort is a lavish, five-star hotel that is located in the heart of Aspen, Colorado. The hotel sits at the base of Aspen Mountain, and it is in close proximity to winter and summer sports activities, shopping districts, entertainment and restaurants. The hotel contains 179 guestrooms and suites that provide spectacular views of Aspen Mountain and ski areas. The hotel also offers a wealth of amenities that suit every need.

Accommodations

The St. Regis Aspen has a variety of guestroom classes. Standard room amenities include flat screen televisions with cable and pay-per view movies; pillowtop beds with down comforters; wired and wireless high-speed Internet access, work desk, leather chair, dual-line telephones; beautiful mountain views. All guestrooms include private marble bathrooms stocked with Remede Bath toiletries; bathrobes and slippers. Turn-down service is available to all guests of the hotel, and it includes complimentary bottled water and a humidifier.

The hotel also offers variety of deluxe suites, including the Presidential, Junior and Loft Suites. The Presidential Suite is fit for royalty; at 2300 square feet, it is the largest guest suite in the hotel. Luxurious appointments include a 60-inch flat screen television and baby grand piano.

The hotel also offers 15 one-bedroom suites and two loft suites. The suites include a king bed, powder room and separate living room. The two loft suites include two fireplaces, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The suites range in size from 800 to 1400 square feet.

Standard hotel guestrooms rates start at $241 per night, while guest suites start at $515 per night.

Hotel Amenities

The St. Regis Aspen offers a wide variety of hotel amenities including shuttle service, concierge, room service, state-of-the art fitness center, spa, steamroom, whirlpool and 24-hour valet service. The Restaurant at St. Regis Aspen is the hotel's sole restaurant, and it serves American cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. The hotel restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition to the hotel restaurant, the St. Regis Aspen also offers two lounges.

Outdoor Activities

The hotel is centrally located near numerous outdoor activities. Snowmobiling, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, ice skating rinks and five different ski mountain areas are located within five miles of the hotel. Sky lift ticket prices range from $78 for one-day passes to $539 for seven-day passes. Additionally, guests of the St. Regis can rent outdoor equipment from the hotel at 20 percent off the normal price. St. Regis ski package rentals range from $25.60 to $44.80 per day. Snowboard rental packages are $33.60 to $44.80 per day (2009 prices) when rented from the hotel.
