State Game Lodge
Built in 1920, the historic State Game Lodge is known for its use as President Calvin Coolidge's "Summer White House" in 1927. President Dwight D. Eisenhower also visited the lodge in 1953. State Game Lodge offers a variety of accommodations -- from rooms in the historic lodge's main building to the more modern motel wings, and large and small cabins on the grounds. The lodge dinning room serves local specialties, like buffalo and trout. Located in a mountain valley, next to Grace Coolidge Creek, visitors can fish, hike, take a buffalo safari jeep tour or drive a few miles to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

Creekside Lodge
The most recent addition to the region is the Creekside Lodge, located on the grounds of the State Game Lodge. This modern lodge has 30 guestrooms, two meeting areas, complete with audio/visual equipment, free wireless Internet and catering/bar service. The Creekside Lodge offers a complimentary continental breakfast in the lobby, and May through September, guests have the option to walk over to the State Game Lodge dinning room for lunch and dinner.

Sylvan Lake Lodge
Located at an altitude of 6,250 feet, Sylvan Lake Lodge owes it's magnificent view to Frank Lloyd Wright, who suggested the lodge's location prior to its inception in 1937. Guests at the mountain retreat can stay in rooms in the original lodge, the modern addition built in 1991, or in one of several cabins near the main lodge. Sylvan lake Lodge has a restaurant, lounge, and auditorium next door for large group gatherings. Pick up a box lunch and picnic on the beach, hike a mountain trail or take a tour of the lake on a rented paddleboat, rowboat or hydrobike.

Blue Bell Lodge
Blue Bell Lodge is a rustic, western-themed guest ranch resort, where the main focus is old-fashioned western living. Guests enjoy hiking, horseback riding, guided trail rides, hay rides and a chuck wagon cookout dinners. Accommodations consist of log cabins surrounding the main lodge, most with fireplaces and porches, several of which are available year-round. All the cabins have outdoor fire pits. The Blue Bell Lodge has a restaurant, a general store and a meeting room.

Legion Lake Lodge
Built on the edge of Galena Creek in 1913, and renovated in 2003, Legion Lake Lodge is a casual resort offering a variety of mostly water-related activities. Guests can fish, swim, rent paddleboats, rowboats and hydrobikes or hike the nearby Badger Clark Historic Trail and Centennial Trail. Mountain bike rentals are also available. Legion Lake Lodge accommodations consist of cabins, with bathrooms, televisions, and, in select cabins, kitchens. The main lodge has a dining room, general store, and deli bakery. Nearby attractions include Jewel Cave National Monument.
