Opryland Area Hotels

Opryland Area Hotels
Best known as the country music capital and less well known as the capital of Tennessee, Nashville is a city of contrasts. The millions of tourists who come because of big-business music are captivated by Nashville's down-home charm.

Nashville's 13 greenways allow hiking and biking over both paved and primitive riverside trails. Percy Priest Lake offers more hiking, boating, canoeing and fishing. In the heart of Nashville's musical and outdoor excitement are the hotels of Opryland.

Gaylord Opryland Resort and Spa

Overlooking the Cumberland River, the Gaylord Opryland Resort is a 2,881-room mega-hotel encompassing nine acres of interior gardens. This atrium landscape has its own river, waterfalls and working flatboats. It also has the hotel's 4,000 square foot fitness center, a spa, five restaurants and two bars, and a shopping area. Dining choices include the Old Hickory Steak House and the Marketplace Buffet with its exceptional Sunday brunch.

Standard room amenities include Wi-Fi, refrigerators, cable TV, two speakerphones, CD players, coffeemakers with tea and coffee, irons and ironing boards, and hair dryers, as well as access to the fitness center and indoor pools.

Fiddler's Inn

Just half a mile from the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville's Fiddler's Inn offers more intimate accommodations than many of the city's hotels. The locally owned inn has only 202 rooms, two suites, and value-conscious management. All rooms have cable TV. The hotel has an outdoor pool. Although there's no restaurant, guests receive complimentary coffee and pastries each morning.

Next door to the Fiddler's Inn, the five-story, 185-room Guesthouse Inn and Suites Nashville is a pet-friendly hotel and winner of the Gold Hospitality Award. All of the rooms have high-speed Internet access, cable or satellite TV, coffee makers, hair dryers, and irons and ironing boards. Deluxe rooms also have refrigerators and microwaves. Guests have use of the outdoor hot tub, heated indoor pool and sun deck. Complimentary continental breakfast and a morning paper to read while you enjoy it are also included in your room price.

Hyatt Place

With a 42-inch flat-panel TV in every room, the Hyatt Place Nashville wants its guests to experience in-house entertainment as large as what they'll enjoy anywhere in Opryland. With Hyatt Plug Panel technology, you can connect your media device directly to that massive TV.

Rooms also have AM/FM clock radios with MP3 connectivity, mini-refrigerators, cordless speakerphones, work desks and coffee makers. Continental breakfast is complimentary. Also, stay energized by using the Hyatt's fitness room and outdoor pool. As far as dining options go, relax over coffee or wine at the hotel's Bakery Cafe, or grab a salad or sandwich for the road from the Grab 'n' Go case.
