Midtown East, New York City contains elite four-star hotels and vast signature landmarks from the renowned Statue of Liberty, to the Brooklyn Bridge and Broadway Theater District. The New York Palace

The guest rooms are divided into three categories: Deluxe, Executive and Tower. All types have the standard amenities. Deluxe and Executive rooms have similar floor areas of 360 square feet. Those availing of the latter gain access to the Executive Lounge on the 39th floor which serves breakfast and snacks and also has three closed-off meeting rooms with Internet access and can comfortably seat groups of eight people. Tower rooms are larger with a floor area of 465 square feet and such guests can use the private elevators and enjoy a more personalized service from the concierge. The suites are naturally of higher quality than the guest rooms. Their floor areas range from 600 to 5,000 square feet. Some are at corner locations, have separate sleeping quarters, fully equipped kitchens and dining areas. The top ones are the four Triplex Suites and the singular Royal Suite.

The Four Seasons

This hotel is perhaps one of the more popular landmarks of the area. It is ideally located in the middle of Manhattan's shopping and business districts and is only minutes away from most tourist attractions. From the lowest to highest level of amenities, space and privilege, its guest rooms are classified as Moderate, Superior, Deluxe, Deluxe with Terrace and Premium Deluxe, City-view Tower, Park-view Tower, Four Seasons Executive with City view, Four Season Executive and Four Seasons Executive with Terrace. Its suites are classified from lowest to highest as follows: Studio One-Bedroom, Deluxe One-Bedroom, Royal Three-Bedroom, Presidential Suite and the Ty Warner Penthouse. The Penthouse is the hotel's top accommodation. Besides a 360 degree view of New York, a guest in this suite will have the services of a personal butler, a trainer and a chauffeur.

Sofitel

The hotel's location provides easy access to the Theater and shopping districts. It has 398 rooms classified as Classic, Superior, Luxury and Junior Suites. It has two levels of prominent suites, namely the Prestige Suite and the Imperial Suite. Room amenities are standard as for most four-star hotels. The real feature of the Sofitel, however, is its famous French and American cuisine restaurant Gaby. It's located street-side and has folding window walls that can be opened to provide sidewalk café-style seating. This hotel is also known for its pet-friendliness and therefore accepts guests that choose to be accompanied by their pets.
