Sea Isle City, New Jersey Beachfront Hotels

Sea Isle City, New Jersey Beachfront Hotels
Sea Isle City, located in Cape May County, New Jersey, is just one small part of the state's lengthy coastal region making up what is commonly known as the Jersey Shore. A seasonal vacation spot, this town of fewer than 3,000 full-time residents sees a huge boon to its tourism industry between Memorial Day and Labor Day, when warmer, beach-going temperatures prevail on the East Coast. As such, there are a number of beachfront hotels to accommodate the influx.

The Colonnade Inn

This historic Victorian-style hotel was built in 1883 and is the last of its era still operating in the city. Guests can enjoy incredible views of the Atlantic from their rooms or from the giant wrap-around porch that completely encircles the base of the hotel, which sits only one small block from the boardwalk and beach. Interior design features elegant woodwork and quaint, antique furniture. Guests can select rooms ranging from a standard one-room unit to a three-bedroom suite. All feature amenities such as private bathrooms, cable television, air conditioning and wireless internet. Many units also feature gas fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. Additionally, there is a 100 percent no-smoking policy inside the hotel, although ash trays are provided on the outdoor porch. Be sure to ask knowledgeable, friendly staff about events and things to do in the area.

The inn has a giant pool for those who prefer wading in fresh water as opposed to sea water, and an on-site convenience store sells snacks and alcoholic beverages. Well-appointed guest rooms can comfortably hold between two and six people, and all feature amenities such as air conditioning, private balcony, cable television and a ceramic tile bath and shower. Large groups of vacationers or business travelers are welcome and should inquire about package deals before booking.
