Mahogany and wicker furnishings and marble floors add elegance to all the accommodations, and every room has a garden, ocean or golf course view. NaturaPark EcoResort and Spa

Awaken to the sound of island water birds calling from the nearby protected estuary. A stay at the NaturaPark Eco Resort and Spa will find you in a hotel of 13 buildings spread across 79 acres. The Resort's construction used natural island stone, wood and even coconut palms. Trails to Bavaro Beach, one of the Caribbean's most outstanding, meander over lagoon bridges and through the Resort's jungle-like gardens.

Double rooms with balconies or terraces all have either garden or ocean views. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, hair dryers, irons with ironing boards and coffee makers. The Resort has an Internet corner with Wi-Fi.

Paradisus Punta Cana

Their open-air design allows fragrances from the Paradisus Punta Cana's lush gardens to permeate its 424 generously proportioned suites. Constructed of natural materials, the hotel has its own mangrove forests, championship golf course, tennis courts, seven swimming pools (one of them adults-only), casino and full-service spa.

The 504 to 1000-square-foot suites have living areas with both air conditioning and ceiling fans, coffee makers and balconies or terraces. Gabi Beach offers swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling, windsurfing, volleyball and kayaking. The hotel also has a fully-equipped fitness center and full-service spa.

Twelve restaurants provide an international selection of cuisines to please every palate, and nine bars offer plenty of opportunities to relax and mingle with other guests.
