Harrah's
Harrah's hotel and casino is an 18-story building that dominates Lake Tahoe's skyline and is located right on the state line, making it one of the closest casinos for many Californians. Harrah's offers a number of Summit Suites, luxury apartment rooms on the top floor, that have amazing views of the mountains and include a personal butler. An on-site spa and the Vex nightclub, one of Tahoe's most popular nightlife destinations, make Harrah's a good choice.

Harvey's
The oldest hotel casino in Lake Tahoe, Harvey's is also located in the heart of downtown and is just as popular for its Cabo Wabo cantina as it is for the gambling action. Harvey's is also close to the gondola that takes skiers and snowboarders up to Heavenly Valley to hit the powder during the winter season. The hotel offers many stay and play package deals for those who want discounts on gaming and shows as well as a good deal on a room.
