A bit of a step down from the Fairmont, but luxurious in its own way, the HI hostel in Jasper is located on the side of Whistler's Mountain and is surrounded by the natural beauty of Jasper Natural Park. The hostel has both private and shared dorm accommodations and is one of the best deals in town for budget travelers. The hostel itself has a common kitchen, an outdoor campfire pit and a library that features many books on the surrounding area. A trailhead that winds up the peak of Whistler's Mountain is also just outside of the hostel's front door.
