Shades of Green Resort
The Shades of Green resort in Orlando is part of the military's Morale, Welfare and Recreation program (MWR) and is owned by the Department of Defense. It is located at Walt Disney World and is one of five United States Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) properties. It is operated exclusively for military personnel and their families. Three categories of service determine the discount. Disney park admission discounts are also available. Military ID is required to make reservations.

Grand Bohemian Downtown Orlando
The Grand Bohemian offers a government rate for military travelers. It has 250 guest rooms and suites with high speed Internet access. A portion of their rooms are reserved for military travelers. Book early because discounted rooms go quickly, especially during peak season. Government or military ID must be shown at check-in. The Holiday Inn and Suites on International Drive offers a special rate for military guests and government employees. The rate is discounted from their normal rates and is offered all year round, with no blackout periods. They boast that they're a kid friendly resort with an enormous swimming pool with tropical landscaping that includes waterfalls. Free high speed wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. The business center and the fitness center are open 24 hours a day. International Drive is a centrally located Orlando location that's convenient for visiting Walt Disney World, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Universal Studios and other Orlando attractions.
