As the gateway to southeastern Ontario's Kawartha Lakes communities, the Scugog riverside community of Lindsay is the trailhead for the 35 mile Victoria Recreation Corridor. Open year-round to hikers, bikers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers, the trail passes through pristine wilderness by Fenelon Falls and Cameron Lake to Kinmount. The warm welcome the trail's travelers receive at Lindsay's hotels takes the chill off the cold Canadian air.
