Bali Hai Cruises

Bali Hai Cruises
Bali Hai Cruises operate in and around Bali and Lembongan Island, Indonesia. This makes them uniquely situated to offer cultural tours, scuba diving reef tours, snorkeling and dolphin spotting. Bali Hai Cruises offer a variety of itineraries, with some cruises also including meals. If you are looking to experience the natural splendor that Indonesia's tropical climate can afford, a Bali Hai Cruise might be just the experience you have been looking for.

Reef Cruise

Bali Hai offers a reef cruise to Lembongan Island. On days when the cruise runs, it departs at 9:15 a.m. and returns at 4:15 p.m. The price is about $85 for an adult, and reduced rates are available for children. The price covers hotel transfers, snacks, lunch, access to an underwater viewer, and a guided tour of the village. For an additional fee, you can also try your hand at parasailing or scuba diving.

Beach Club Cruise

The Bali Hai Beach Club Cruise also travels to Lembongan Island and offers amenities similar to the cruise listed above for the same price and during the same time frame. You can visit the sandy beaches of the Bali Hai Cruises' private beach club, and your ticket also pays for the amenities listed above as well as a tropical beach barbecue, glass-bottom boat rides and use of the beach club's swimming pool and volleyball court.

Ocean Rafting---3-Island Day Cruise

For about $79, you can take in the sights of three Indonesian islands. The cruise departs at 10:30 a.m. and returns at 5:30 p.m. You can take in sights like a village of seaweed farmers, snorkeling and optional parasailing for an extra fee. The cruise travels to the south coast of Nusa Penida, the Ceningan Channel and Lembongan Bay marine park.

Bali Hai Cruises warns passengers that the Ocean Rafting Cruise is not suitable for children under the age of 10, pregnant women or people with certain health problems.

Dolphin and South Coast Bali Cruise

Another cruise offered is the Dolphin and South Coast Bali Cruise. For about $49 (less for kids), you can see dolphins along the coastline of Nusa Dua. If you do not see any dolphins, you can get a refund of your cruise fee. The cruise departs at 7:30 a.m., and lasts about two hours. Tea and pastries are served prior to boarding.

This cruise is not suitable for children under 10, pregnant women or people with certain health issues.

Castaway Cruise

For the most isolated possible cruise on the Bali Hai line, you may elect to embark on the Castaway Cruise, which sails to Crystal Bay, Nusa Penida. The cruise departs at 9 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m. The price includes hotel transfers, coffee and snacks, a tropical barbecue lunch, onboard fishing en route, guided tour of the island and snorkeling. You can also elect to go scuba diving or enjoy a rejuvenating massage.

This cruise only operates from April to October, and very young children are not welcome.
