Arcordoro & Pomodoro
Arcordoro & Pomodoro has the distinction of being the only Texas restaurant featured on the list of the Best Italian restaurants in the U.S.A. by Paper City. The owners are the Farris brothers who are from Sardinia and feature their native food. This location is a merger of two former restaurants--Arcordoro, which featured wood fired pizzas and Pomodoro, which offered more formal dining. Inside there is no smoking. Campisi's Egyptian Lounge
Campisi's offers fun and casual Italian cuisine. Bring your own beer and wine because none is served here. The menu is extensive and inexpensive. A children's menu is available as well. You also can choose a take-out option. They even offer pizzas to go where you can bake them yourself at home. There are seven Campisi's restaurants in the Dallas area, but Campisi's Egyptian Lounge was the first. Reservations are not accepted.

This restaurant is tucked away in the bottom of the Chase building below street level. Chef Puleo is from Sicily, Palermo to be specific, and features this southern style Italian cuisine. The restaurant boasts a brick wine cellar and Old World Style. The chef has a goal of meeting every guest. There is live music on Saturdays by Sterg Stodolnik. Terilli's
Terrilli's has been open for more than 20 years in Dallas. It features live music Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Monday features $2 off martinis and a brunch on Sunday. Villa O
Villa O was voted the best Italian restaurant by Dallas Morning News in 2008. According to the owner, the "O" stands for original, organic and oceanic. They state that the items are 100 percent organic, local pasture raised, wild or imported. Their specialty is handcrafted organic pastas made from organic semolina flour that are wok-fired. Additionally, they feature Natura purified and sparkling water purified in house to reduce the waste associated with bottled water. Sunday is family day where parents get a three-course dinner for $15.95, and children 15 and under dine complements of the house. This is a casual restaurant with shaded outdoor dining.
