New Delhi Diamond's Restaurant

Situated in the downtown area of Ithaca, New Delhi Diamond's Restaurant has been serving Indian dishes since 1993. Most of the meals are prepared in a Tandoor, a traditional Indian oven, which gives them an authentic flavor. There is a daily lunch all-you-can-eat buffet for $6.99. New Delhi Diamond's offers a range of Tandoori, chicken, lamb and vegetarian offerings.

Moghul Fine Indian Cuisine & Tapas Bar

Located just outside of Ithaca in neighboring Vestal, Moghul is an upscale establishment, which nonetheless offers a take-out menu. Moghul strives to offer Indian dishes that you won't find at other Indian restaurants in the area, such as the Lamb Vindaloo, consisting of lamb pieces sizzling alongside potatoes in spicy tomato gravy with tangy onions. Vegetarians can try the Paneer Tikka, in which homemade cubes of cheese are marinated in yogurt and then cooked in a traditional Tandoor oven.
