Dennis Port, Massachusetts is nestled within the extremely popular vacation destination of Cape Cod. Outdoor enthusiasts clamor to go to this locale due to the abundance of water-related activities in the Cape Cod Bay, as well as nearby hiking trails and bike paths. The Oyster Company

Serving lunch and dinner, The Oyster Company is known for its bevy of seafood temptations, in addition to its stocked martini bar. The restaurant is located near Rte. 28 and Glendon Road Beach, and the kitchen staff grows their own oysters, guaranteeing fresh food. Portions are moderate, but hungry adventurers can order everything from Ahi tuna and pan-seared salmon to chicken piccata and sirloin filet. Vegetarians will be disappointed with only salads and a vegetable fettuccine dish available to them. At least 20 varieties of wine and a vast selection of martinis await the outdoor enthusiast who decides to find nourishment at the Ocean House. This restaurant, which touts itself as the "shi-shi beach house of Cape Cod," offers oceanfront views of Nantucket Sound and is mere steps from the Depot Street Beach. Menu items include New England lobster ravioli, flat iron steak, pan-roasted Chatham sea scallops and roasted yellow fin tuna. Vegetarians will find butternut squash risotto, Pad Thai vegetable noodle bowls and vegetable spring rolls, among other non-meat options. Dress is business casual.

Clancy's Restaurant of Dennisport

If all of that play outside has caused you to dread going indoors for a meal, don't fret. Clancy's on Upper County Road has plenty of patio seating overlooking the scenic Swan River. Serving lunch and dinner to the casually dressed crowd, Clancy's offers a wide range of comestibles including finger foods, like buffalo wings and shrimp cocktail, and more gourmet items, such as entrees sautéed with rice or pasta, steaks, soups and six types of salad.
