The interior of Stissing House is reminiscent of an old farmhouse from the late 1700s. As of 2009, Stissing House Restaurant and Tavern is the oldest restaurant operating in America. Once upon a time, Stissing House hosted important events like debates between politicians and provided meals to domestic and foreign dignitaries. The menus change seasonally or whenever the chef is struck with inspiration, but you can generally expect them to include items such as soup, pizza, salad and steak.

Mountain Cow

The Thompson Pond Nature Preserve provides activities like skiing, birdwatching and hiking to outdoor enthusiasts who visit the area.
