Canada Fishing Resorts

Canada Fishing Resorts
Canada is a fishing fantasy come true. The country offers sport fishermen pristine lakes and rivers, serviced by resorts that run the gamut from budget and rustic to luxurious and comfortable.

Canada's size provides sport fishermen with a tremendous variety of fishing options. On the East and West coasts, you can fish for salmon and halibut. In Ontario and Quebec, you can easily find a variety of trout, and to the West and North, you may find yourself fly-fishing for Arctic char.

To take full advantage of the fishing opportunities, stay at one of the many fishing resorts.

Ten-ee-ah Lodge Wilderness Resort

Ten-ee-ah means "big animal" in Shuswap, and Ten-ee-ah Lodge is home to herds of moose, the largest animal you'll find in Bristish Columbia. While hunters might visit Ten-ee-ah for the moose, fishermen visit for what can be found in Spout Lake--the trout.

The resort caters to serious and casual fishermen, and the experienced guides are always willing to help out and make suggestions.

The lodge offers eight deluxe cabins, one luxury log home, as well as two guestrooms. There is a kitchen where items can be ordered from a menu, or the chef will prepare your catch of the day. On two docks, canoes, motorboats and floatplanes are available for guest use.
