Sun Lakes Country Club #1 is a full-service club. It is an adult country club for three communities in the area. Sun Lakes #1 offers golfing, tennis, swimming pools, aerobics and fishing for residents and guests. Also offered are 42 clubs such as art, hiking and walking as well as support groups and group activities. This club has more than 2,000 properties of standard housing and mobile homes covering a square-mile area. Some houses come up for sale from time to time and rent regularly and seasonly. The 18-hole golf course is private and green fees are $30 seven days a week.

The Oakwood (Iron Oaks) Country Club

The Oakwood (Iron Oaks) Country Club has three nine-hole regulation golf courses for a total of 27 holes. Golfers can use the four sets of tee boxes available, and the courses have a variety of skill levels. This club offers a golf pro on the property, and the green fee is around $75. Oakwood has a driving range, is open to the public and has Bermuda grass. This club also offers a restaurant and clubhouse for guests to enjoy. A ballroom is also in this country club community for receptions and banquets. Oakwood offers homes and more thena 40 miles of private roads. Residents and guests can enjoy hiking trails, swimming, softball, walking trails and bicycling.

Palo Verde Country Club

The Palo Verde Country Club is a private community golf course and country club. Guests can use the clubhouse, enjoy the restaurant and get fit in the workout gym. Golfers can utilize the putting green, practice bunker and chipping areas before their 18-hole game of golf. Palo Verde has a golf pro on site, a driving range, online tee times and pull carts for the guests' use. This club also has a swimming pool for the guests to enjoy and cool off in after a long day of golf.
