Damrak is the main road in the city of Amsterdam, Holland, and is centrally situated between Dam Square and the Centraal Station. This is the first area that people arriving at the station enter to central Amsterdam. Due to its key location, Damrak is a touristy area with many unique shops and restaurants and a handful of hotels and inns for travelers to stay at.

The three-star Hotel de Korenaer is situated in a 300-year-old historic canal house and an adjacent 1930s building. The canal house has authentic features, including small hallways and windows and large doors, all set amid a modern atmosphere.
