Aayashiana Indian Cuisine

Aayashiana is a Hindi word that describes a tastefully decorated home. The restaurant experience at Aayashiana is by far the most upscale and refined establishment serving traditional Indian food in the area. Offering both a lunch buffet and dinner menu, Aayashiana has a wide variety of meats cooked tandoori style in a clay oven, or meats and vegetables stewed in a selection of curries and sauces. The chef is glad to adjust the level of spice of each dish to the taste of the guest, and suggests that those who are unfamiliar with this sort of cuisine start mild and work their way up to spicy. Those who enjoy beer or wine with their meal are encouraged to bring their own, as none is available on the menu.

Devi Indian Restaurant

While Devi Restaurant serves only vegetarian dishes, it offers a wide variety of southern Indian delicacies that will please the non-vegetarian palate as well. Best known for their dosas--a crepe made from rice and black lentils--Devi also offers many other delicious treats such as a wide variety of chutneys both hot and cold, and a carrot halwa (semolina pudding) for dessert. Items are available off the menu or served buffet style, and customers must bring their own beer and wine. The only complaint that can be levied at this restaurant is that the prices are higher than one might expect for such simple fare.
