Big North Lodge and Outposts
May through October is prime time for fishermen to catch walleye right off the docks at the Big North Lodge and Outposts. If you like, you can branch out from there to five excellent fishing lakes fed by the Winnipeg River: Gun Lake, Little Sand Lake, Big Sand Lake, Rough Rock Lake and Pistol Lake. Not only will you benefit from the experience of expert guides, but you'll be able to enjoy a shore-side lunch, prepared by the guide, of walleye with all the trimmings.
Big North Lodge promotes a "Trophy Catch and Release Program" designed to maintain a sustained level of high-quality fishing in the area. If you catch a BIG ONE, the guide helps you get a good picture of it and release it back into the water. For your cooperation, you'll get an official pin.

Crow Rock Lodge
A visit to Crow Rock lands you right in the middle of great Canadian walleye fishing. The lodge provides 18-foot bass-style fishing boats. You can hire a professional guide or head out on your own. Each guest cabin offers a lakeside water view to watch evening sunsets and, if you're lucky, the Northern Lights.
Cabins are rustic, but nice, and include electricity, heat, shower/bathroom and a comfortable bed. Daily maid service is provided while you're on the water. Crow Rock takes pride in offering a daily menu that sometimes ranges far from nearby lakes and rivers. Expect to find hearty portions of prime rib, full turkey dinners and plenty of freshly baked desserts.

Anderson's Lodge
Anderson's Lodge tells you right up front that it does not, and probably never will, offer the cheapest Canadian walleye fishing package. It does, however, believe it offers the best value for the money. Choose from nine lakes for your walleye fishing trip and reach these distant fishing holes with your choice of either a 16-foot Lund with 30 hp motor or a 21-foot Bowrider with 115 hp motor. Your accommodations are modern cabins perched along the shores of Abram Lake.
