The park provides grills where you can cook your catch, and picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy dinner before exploring more of the park. Buttermilk Falls State Park

In-season hunting (bow hunting only, no guns), swimming (in designated areas where lifeguard is on duty), hiking and nature walking are only a few of the pastimes the park provides. Geographical attractions include the beach, waterfalls and scenic views. The sports fields and playgrounds also provide you with an opportunity to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Rabies inoculation forms are required in order to bring pets into the park. Most attractions at Buttermilk Falls are handicap-accessible, like the nature trails, scenic views, fishing spots and beach.
