Rohotu Fare Lodge

Situated on a hillside above Povai Bay, this three-bungalow lodge is a few hundred yards from the lagoon. Each bungalow has a balcony with a view of either the lagoon or the mountain, a queen-size canopy bed and a large bathroom with an outdoor garden shower. Kitchenettes come with each bungalow and include a refrigerator, microwave and a coffeemaker. The lodge also has a communal lounge and library overlooking lush gardens speckled with tiki statues. Free bicycles and airport shuttle boats are available, and the hotel offers kayak rentals, lagoon excursions and scuba diving.
