Raccoon Mountain Caverns offers gemstone panning, go-kart rides, hiking trails and cave tours, all of which are situated between Raccoon Mountain and Lookout Mountain. Blue Moon Cruises provides eco-tours into the Tennessee River Gorge departing from Ross's Landing City Pier in Chattanooga and eco-tours into the Hiwassee Island Refuge departing from Sale Creek Marina in Soddy Daisy. Ruby Falls
Ruby Falls, located within Lookout Mountain, is a 145-foot underground waterfall found in America's deepest commercial cave. The tour starts at the Historic Cavern Castle; an elevator will take you down where your guide will lead you along the cave path and point out formations such as Onyx Column and Frozen Niagara. After viewing the waterfall and returning to the Cavern Castle, you will have the opportunity to pan for gemstones and have dinner on the deck.

Tennessee Aquarium is located on the Chattanooga riverfront. Attractions at the aquarium include Cove Forest, Delta Forest, Butterfly Garden, Tropical Cove, Secret Reef, Penguins' Rock, Nickajack Lake and Rivers of the World.
