Restaurants in Bloomingburg, New York
A small village located about an hour and a half northwest of New York City, Bloomingburg was originally a railway town that catered to vacationers. After a fire destroyed most of the city in 1922, most of the cabins and guesthouses in the village were not rebuilt. Despite this, the area still is a thriving oasis for the outdoor-minded. Surrounded on all sides by countless lakes, local and state parks, state forests and ski lodges, the area provides no shortage of activities for visitors. Whether one is looking for a great place to hike or cycle or spend the day on the water or the slopes, Bloomingburg can supply it.

Quickway Diner

The "diner with a difference," the Quickway has been serving up traditional American highway diner dishes since the owners Teek and Vee opened for business in 1987. Enjoy large portions of hearty American favorites in a relaxed environment that hearkens back to the way we used to eat. Featuring a menu of enormous breakfasts and a long list of grilled and cold sandwiches, the Quickway also has an ice cream stand and, believe it or not, a used-car lot specializing in exotic autos. The Quickway is open 24 hours, but closed from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday.
