Grand Isle Suites, located on the island, has been in business for over 20 years. The Gulf of Mexico is right across the street; with a short walk out the front door, you are right on the beach. The well-appointed suites are both comfortable and functional. Each features a stove plus common kitchen items, hot showers, basic cable channels, a telephone, air conditioning and heat. The hotel even provides a special fish-cleaning room so that guests can clean their catch of the day, return to their room and start frying up dinner.

Cajun Tide Beach Resort

The Cajun Tide Beach Resort is located on Grand Isle within walking distance of fishing and crabbing in the Gulf of Mexico. There is a screened-in cook room complete with fryers, burners and propane. The hotel also offers BBQ pits, a screened-in fish cleaning room and coin-operated washer and dryer. Every building, including the cook room, has a picnic table for guests' use.

The hotel offers two-bedroom suites with kitchens that sleep six and have off-season rates considerably lower than the rates between May and the end of September. The resort does accept pets with a $25 cleaning fee.

Bridge Side Marina and Cabins

The Bridge Side Marina and Cabins is a full-service hotel that offers a variety of services for every traveler, including the outdoorsman and camper. The cabins are air conditioned and fully furnished, including dishes, utensils and cable television. The hotel also has two beachfront camps that offer either two or three bedrooms, with the same amenities as the cabin, but with the addition of a washer and dryer. These camps sleep twelve and are located on the beach. Room prices vary according to the number of beds and whether the room includes a kitchen. The Marina also welcomes RVs, providing water, sewage and electrical hookups. The Bridge Side Marina offers cold storage and pressure washing for cleaning boats. It sells live and frozen bait and features a grocery store and a deli that offers plate lunches.
