Casey Jones Village
Guests can spend almost all day in the village honoring a local railroad hero. Starting as only an old country store in 1965, it has now grown into a village with a museum, restaurant, train station and gift shops. The Brooks Shaw's Old Country Store features an ice cream and fudge shop, a gift shop and full-service restaurant, known for its famous cornbread. At the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum, guests can tour his home and an authentic 1890s train station. At the Casey Jones Train Store, visitors can purchase train-themed gifts or read in the Thomas the Train corner. A Casey Jones Mini Golf also is located in Jackson.

International Rock-a-Billy Hall of Fame Museum
Located near the musical towns of Nashville--the home of country music--and Memphis--the home of Elvis and Beale Street--it's only natural that a rockabilly museum would be found in Jackson. At the museum, guests can learn about early rockabilly and rock 'n' roll music by listening to the musicians and watching live videos, sorting through memorabilia, taking a line dance class and listening to a live band, depending on which day they visit.

On the tour, guests will see where wines and marinades are made, where the grapes grow and are crushed, and sample or buy finished products. Located on 10 acres near Interstate 40, the Old Medina Winery entertains its guests with monthly music festivals, and on Fridays they also can participate in open mic night.
