The town of Escalante, Utah, borders the vast Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Escalante's location between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park makes it a convenient jumping-off point for exploring the splendor of southern Utah.

Circle D Motel

The locally owned Circle D Motel is on State Route 12. All rooms feature free wireless Internet access and cable television, and some rooms include a microwave and refrigerator. A mini-suite with kitchenette sleeps up to six guests. Pets are welcome for small fee. A picnic area with a barbecue and fire pit is available, and the adjacent Circle D Eatery offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
