Castle Hotels in Brussels

Castle Hotels in Brussels
Belgian King Albert II and Queen Paola may not be in residence at these castles, but Brussels is home to historic castles where you can visit or even stay. If you'd like to feel like a king or queen for a night--perhaps a stay in one of the Brussels area's two lovely castles--or "kasteels"--that have been converted into luxury hotels is in order.

Kasteel Gravenhof

On the outskirts of Brussels sits the Kasteel Gravenhof. Built in 1649 for Baron Le Roy, it was converted into a luxurious hotel more than 200 years ago. The property offers 26 exquisitely decorated, sleek and modern rooms and offers beautifully maintained grounds to walk in and cycling tours.

Child care is available, the old castle is handicapped-accessible, and there are ATMs, a gift shop and a business center. In addition, the hotel retains a multi-lingual staff for the convenience of international guests. Situated on lovely grounds, the hotel features a restaurant and tennis court.
