Alte Thorschenke
Alte Thorschenke is one of the oldest and most well-known establishments in Cochem. The building that houses this hotel and wine restaurant was built in 1332. Alte Thorschenke became a hotel in 1960. Besides the usual elevator, you can reach the rooms with the centuries-old cantilevered wooden staircase. Hotels rates include breakfast. The rooms have historical furnishings and some of the beds even have a canopy. Amenities include tub/shower combinations for each room, laundry service and an automatic wake-up call. Drop by the Weinstube and the Rieslingstube, two restaurants in the lobby of Alte Thorschenke. The restaurants feature wooden and antique decorations and an overall rustic design.
